Capstone Presentation Display

    This is my Capstone Presentation display. My colors were gold, brown, and green. To aid in the presentation of my Capstone Project I used my laptop to display my website, and my iPad to display my PSA. The light gray binder contained my end product, while the black binder contained my paper and articles used during research. My board served as an attention grabber and short synopsis for those who wished to have a general overview of my project. The bottom corner displayed my bookmarks, which were available for people to take. The apples, small books, and candies helped the overall appearance of my presentation.
   Overall I had a great Capstone presentation experience. The judges were very nice and asked great questions. The actual process of presenting was not as difficult as I thought it would be.

Capstone Presentation

The day of my presentation, I plan to have the following visual aids present:
 
   -My Poster displayed on an easel
   -A Tri-fold displaying various statistics and graphs supporting my project
   -An iPad displaying my ad/Prezi
   -A laptop displaying my website
   -Various bookmarks for the judges/people who wish to learn more about my project
   -A bowl of apples
   -Cookies (individually wrapped) with a tag containing a mini version of my poster and my name
   -My table will have a table cloth (either yellow or brown)
   -A pen/pencil holder, a stack of books, a notebook, a ruler, and other props that would give it a
    classroom feel to the table set-up.

Capstone Ad

   This is the advertisement for my Capstone Project. I am currently having trouble with the Screen Recording program, so for right now it is still in Prezi form. As soon as I am able to record the screen and have to video ready I will post it.

Dr. Manes Vist

Although I already know what my Capstone project is and how go about it, I found Dr. Manes visit very helpful. What I did learn was that there is Capstone tutoring on Saturdays; I might just take advantage of that resource soon! Another thing that I did not know is that our service learning has to tie into our paper.  I am glad that he came to talk to our class so that other students had the opportunity to ask him questions.
